Interior Designer/Sales Associate
Dover Rug is looking for sales/design professionals who would like to partner with a high end retailer of fine rugs and home furnishings in owning there own business with unlimited income potential. You should have desire to succeed, know how to achieve results, appreciate the selling process, and value customer service. If you have the mindset and passion, we have a design consultant position available for you! We will sponsor for work authorization visas. We will provide on the job training.
Assist clients with design consulting in selecting fine rugs, carpeting, window treatments, floorings and provide design ideas that best suit their needs. Build strong customer relationship with exceptional follow up
Achieve and exceed sales goals in a salary plus commission based environment with unlimited earning potential.
Build your business by working with our existing high end clientele and new customers with the help of our state of the art advertising and marketing programs. Demonstrate design skill, professional communication, and follow-up skills.
Energy, enthusiasm, and patience backed by an entrepreneurial spirit. Create and maintain a customer base
Must have excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team. Perform additional functions that may be assigned by management. Visit client space for appointments and consultations.
Frequently move about the showroom over an 8-10 hour period to attend to customer’s needs.
Walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time as customer needs dictate.

Desired Skills & Experience:
Proven sales experience
Two years proven retail experience desirable.
Design experience or degree helpful.
College degree or college coursework preferred.
Ability to dress for success in a showroom environment.
Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new programs.
